Beautiful Girls features a bunch of thirty-something guys (including Timothy Hutton, Michael Rapaport and Matt Dillon) musing about Getting Older and pining for the various women in their lives, including the attainable (Mira Sorvino), the unattainable (Uma Thurman) and the downright hands-off-or-you’re-going-to-jail (Natalie Portman, all of 14 or something in this). A two-hour festival of small-town man-child angst might not sound like your idea of a good time, but it’s actually a lot (a lot, in fact) better than it sounds — and yeah, the girls sure are beautiful. And don’t feel too creepy if you find yourself falling for Natalie in this — it’s kind of the point that you do.
