The members of alt-rock outfit At the Drive-In have come together once again to create their first album in 17 years, entitled in • ter a • li • a (Latin for “among other things”). Their last record, 2000’s Relationship of Command, is one of the most important post-hardcore records of all time, turning the band and its members into musical icons to ta select group of listeners. This new record is supported by a number of 2017 tour dates that the band will head out on, starting in March.
This year’s in • ter a • li • a is out on May 5th through Rise Records. You can check out purchasing and preorder options for the new record right here.
Members of At the Drive-In are Cedric Bixler-Zavala, Omar Rodríguez-Lopez, Paul Hinojos, Tony Hajjar, and Keeley Davis. Founding member Jim Ward, also known for his work as the lead singer in Sparta, is not on the new record nor will he be on tour with the band in 2017.
Just recently, the band released a brand new track off of their upcoming 2017 album. The song, “Incurably Innocent,” is a song about “sexual abuse and being able to finally speak out,” according to Bixler-Zavala. Check out this new song right here:
