It’s getting down to the wire, and More Life is just about ready for release.
After delays, speculation, and an overlooked release date that came and went, Drake‘s long-awaited playlist is 24 hours away from its official premiere. Those nervous about the rapper making good on his claim are slowing gaining confidence based on the project’s streaming announcements and official confirmation from Drizzy himself. There’s been no confirmed tracks outside of the previously released “Fake Love” and “Sneakin,” but there are rumors of up to 30 songs could land on the tracklist, including collaborations with 21 Savage, Giggs, and The Weeknd.
Now, Drake’s longtime producer, Noah “40” Shebib, has hopped on Twitter to give us an update. “Almost done,” he writes alongside the hashtag “MoreLife.” It’s a promising sign for fans, as the producer and sound engineer rarely takes time from his busy schedule to tweet. Those needn’t worry about the project being completed on time, either, as “40,” whose worked with Drake since 2009, has made working up to the wire something of a tradition.
According to HNPP, the producer was putting the finishing touches on Views (2016) just days before its official release. “40” posted a similar message a few weeks ago on Instagram, but given the teaser nature of this most recent message, we’d say he’s simply wetting the appetites of Drake fans everywhere.
More Life is scheduled to premiere tomorrow (March 18) on OVO Sound Radio at 6 p.m. ET.
UPDATE: “40” has tweeted out that he’s officially done with the album.
