XXXTENTACION Claims That He Can ‘Out Rap’ Drake

Florida rapper XXXTentacion has continued to attack Drake for the alleged stealing of his flow on the song “Look At Me.”

Born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, XXXTentacion first accused Drake of theft when snippets of the song “KMT” leaked online. The hard-hitting cut from Drake’s playlist More Life saw the Canadian emcee using a flow that he later admitted to be similar to XXXTentacion, though he told DJ Semtex that there was never an intentional attempt to steal it.

“I [listened to ‘Look At Me‘] and I’m like, okay, I can see where people could draw this comparison off the first two lines, whether it be cadence or the rhyme pattern or whatever,” Drake admitted, “It’s crazy that people think that after all this time, after all I’ve been through, that I’m the type of person…. to go and take that and make it my own. I’m not stupid, I’m not a sh*t person like that.” Listen to the interview clip here.

Despite this explanation, XXXTentacion feels that Drake is simply covering up what he did, and feels that he deserves the credit for introducing the flow to the mainstream. And since his release from jail in March, XXXTenacion has done nothing short of declare war on the “Hotline Bling” rapper, from calling him a “b*tch” on social media to making off-color remarks about Drake’s mother, Sandi Graham. XXX even went as far as to post a picture of the mother and son with his face photoshopped over that of Drake’s father, Dennis Graham.

Now, in a new Facebook video, XXX has made his most outlandish statement yet, in an attempt to get Drake to draw his verbal sword. He claims that “If [Drake] can do a whole f**kin’ album, or even 2-3 f**kin’ songs, originally, that does not sound like anyone elses cadence or does not have a f**king sample, and just sounds like him originally, he’ll get my kudos.” He then says that he’ll “Run around the street butt-a*s naked, I’ll tattoo Drake name on my a*s cheek if he can be original for 2 seconds or outrap me!” Check out the video below.

Drake is like Vanilla Ice doing that? Or maybe Black Eyed Peas. Led Zeppelin? Maybe USA’s Garbage ripping off the entire sound of UK’s Curve? Possibly Metallica taking from James Marshall Hendrix is closer, but then Jimi wasn’t around to protest.

Video Description: March 1968 – Hendrix’ first recorded demo versions of “1983… (A Merman I Should Turn to Be)” at a New York apartment. Guitar and Vocals, the recordings later released as part of the Acoustic Jams bootleg, and entwined within Metallica’s The Unforgiven II (1997)::

Yup

Who cares, talentless hacks should just get a job and stop preying on the people living in the hood to sustain they’re pseudo gangsta image.
