Katy Perry is less than a day away from releasing new material. Or so we thought. While the official release date for her fifth studio album Witness is Friday, June 9th, Perry has decided to give her fans a little extra tonight by hosting a live-stream event titled Katy Perry: Witness World Wide on YouTube.

Witness World Wide, strictly billed as “an event,” is set to offer behind-the-scenes footage for fans and promises “plenty of surprises” according to a press release. All Access adds that Perry will also discuss the creative process behind the album, its lead singles “Bon Appetit” and “Swish Swish.” The live event will culminate in a countdown to the release of Witness, which will include fifteen tracks and appearances from artists like Nicki Minaj, Skip Marley and Migos. Check out the tracklist and the Witness World Wide announcement below.

The live-stream begins tonight at 8:00 p.m. PT, which translates to 11:00 p.m. Eastern. To watch, simply click here and go to Perry’s official YouTube page.

Aside from her music, Perry has been making headlines for addressing her long-standing feud with fellow pop singer and former friend Taylor Swift. Perry first spoke up on an episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, telling the host that the entire thing stemmed from a conflict over backup dancers. She expanded on the story in her recent interview with NME: “Well, James Corden makes me and the whole world feel safe. No one has asked me about my side of the story, and there are three sides of every story: one, two, and the truth.”

Perry added: “I wish I that I could turn the other cheek every single time, but I’m also not a pushover, you know? Especially when someone tries to assassinate my character with little girls [her fans]. That’s so messed up!” With regards to songwriter Max Martin, a close friend who helped Swift write the diss song “Bad Blood,” Perry explained that she can’t speak for his decision. “I’m not supposed to tell him what he can and can’t do… Just like, you do you, make your own choices… I’m not his mother.” Read the full interview below.

Perry’s latest single, “Swish Swish,” is seen by many as a diss to Swift. While appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Perry expressed her intent for the song, saying “I think it’s a great anthem for people to use whenever somebody’s trying to hold you down or bully you.” While she never explicitly admitted it was about Swift, it was an answer that left plenty open for interpretation.

Perhaps we will learn more about Swift during the Witness World Wide event. In the meantime, listen to “Swish Swish” below.
