On the eve of 9/11, pretty much everyone in New York with a smartphone had the same idea to take a picture of New York’s Freedom Tower — illuminated in red, white and blue — and post it to Twitter. Leading the tweetfest was Alyssa Milano, whose share of @augieray’s gorgeous shot was the Top Tweet in the Freedom Tower Twitter search. Here’s her tweet and some other notable shares:
