Microsoft Surface Has Sold Out US Pre-Orders

The Microsoft Surface, Microsoft’s first foray into the tablet market, is starting to generate quite the buzz. In face they’ve completely sold out all pre-orders in the US that were slated to ship on October 26th.

Microsoft also moved back the initial shipping date for the UK to November 2nd.

Microsoft is betting a lot on the Surface, as it is ordering between 3 and 5 million units for the fourth quarter. However, if you want to order or pre-order a Surface, you can only do so on Microsoft’s website or at one of the 60+ Microsoft stores across the country.
