Sandy is ‘The Biggest Storm Ever’ To Hit the U.S.

To put it mildly, we are all f*****.

Hurricane Sandy, which is a nice moniker for a hell-storm of epic proportions, is on its way up the east coast, and with it comes the wrath of god. To understand the scope of this storm, NASA released this terrifying time-lapse video showing what Sandy looks like from space:

State emergencies are already in effect for New York, Delaware and New Jersey, as the northeast prepares for a superstorm when Sandy meets two other storms in the area, which experts are predicating will cause over 800 miles of damage and devastation.

To clarify, Sandy has already killed almost 60 in the Caribbean, and that’s before she’s set to meet with two other storms in the northeast sector.

North Carolina and Maryland, who have also declared state emergencies, have already felt the wrath of the storm as coastal communities are vacating the area due to flooding.

Louis Uccellini, the head of environmental prediction for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, stated that 50 to 60 million people will be affected by the storm, which is set to make its biggest impact this Tuesday.

Stay tuned here for incoming information as we’ll be tracking the storm and giving you all the “need-to-know” as we brace ourselves for a monumental national disaster.
