‘Liz and Dick’: Lindsay Lohan’s Best Trainwreck Ever

Have you been watching the trainwreck also known as Lindsay Lohan’s over-the-top performance of Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime flick Liz and Dick?

Go ahead, it’s okay to admit if you are. Lots of people are. Twitter is going insane with people watching and tweeting, tweeting and watching. That’s when they’re not playing drinking games where they take a drink every time “Liz” does, which is a lot, or trying to decipher her weird British accent.

True, we’ve had to miss The Walking Dead to tune in, but really, how many zombies do you need to watch to get the point that those people are still fighting zombies? Isn’t it more fun to watch Li-Lo kill the legacy that was Elizabeth Taylor instead?

And if you missed it tonight, never fear. Lifetime spent a lot of money on this disaster, so they’ll be showing it over and over and over again. You shouldn’t miss it, because it is truly a monument to over-the-top acting that never should have been done.

As The Hollywood Reporter said:

Lohan is woeful as Taylor from start to finish. But, whatever you do, don’t miss Liz & Dick. It’s an instant classic of unintentional hilarity. Drinking games were made for movies like this. And the best part is that it gets worse as it goes on, so in the right company with the right beverages, Liz & Dick could be unbearably hilarious toward the tail end of the 90-minute running time. By the time Lohan is playing mid-’80s Taylor and it looks like a lost Saturday Night Live skit, your body may be cramped by convulsions.

And a movie like this should be watched with lots of other people. So if you don’t have company, log on to Twitter, QUICK. The tweeters are in rare form tonight! Here’s some of our favorites:
