Photos of Boston Marathon Bomb: Pressure Cooker Pics Leaked

Yesterday the world watched in horror as two bombs exploded at the Boston Marathon, killing three people, including an 8-year-old boy. Today, while the FBI is still searching for evidence that will point them in the direction of the person or group that is responsible for the attack, MyFoxAtlanta exclusively released the first pictures of one of the bombs.

The device used in the attack was a pressure cooker bomb. The photos show pieces of the stainless steel pressure cooker with an Underwriters Laboratory number. One picture shows the the Gas and Electric imprint.

Another picture shows what looks like the remnants of a black padded bag. It was reported that the bomb was carried in a black bag.

The final picture shows what appears to be ball bearing or small metal pieces. Doctors at Massachusetts General Hospital treating victims of the attack described removing pellets and headless nails from their bodies. Doctors and federal agents believe that shrapnel was used to make the explosion deadlier.
