With Spain having been ousted by France in the World Cup semifinals, the only thing standing in the way of a United States gold medal is the potential for the U.S. to suffer a letdown and lose to a vastly inferior opponent.

The Americans took the court Thursday afternoon in Barcelona looking to avoid that type of letdown when they took on Lithuania in the semifinals.
