Hillary Clinton declared victory as the presumptive Democratic nominee Tuesday night after a long, drawn-out battle with Bernie Sanders.

Clinton is making history as the first woman presidential candidate of a major U.S. political party.

She celebrated the achievement as she addressed supporters at the Duggal Greenhouse at Brooklyn Navy Yard.

“Thanks to you, we’ve reached a milestone: the first time in our nation’s history that a woman will be a major party’s nominee,” Clinton said to loud cheers.

“Tonight’s victory is not about one person. It belongs to generations of women and men who struggled and sacrificed and made this moment possible.”

The #ImWithHer hashtag began trending as celebrities took to Twitter to recognize Clinton’s historic achievement.
