CNN Libertarian Town Hall Live Stream: How to Watch Gary Johnson Online

The Libertarian Gary Johnson/William Weld town hall is tonight on CNN, and voters are excited because it marks another chance for Johnson to speak to a national audience. The more national attention the Libertarian ticket can get, the better for their chances at making it into a national debate. If Johnson ranks at 15 percent in five national polls, he could join the Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the general election debates. (You can sign a petition requesting that Johnson be included in the debates here.) We’ve got all the information here on how you can watch a free live stream of the town hall tonight.

CNN will offer a live stream of the town hall on Wednesday, August 3, starting at 9 p.m. Eastern. Journalists and audience members will get a chance to ask Johnson and his running mate, William Weld, questions during the town hall, which will be moderated by Anderson Cooper.

The event will be live streamed on CNNgo, which is available online and on mobile devices, according to CNN’s press release about the town hall.

The live stream will start automatically. CNN did not say in its press release if you will need a cable connection to access the live stream or not, but it has offered previous presidential debates via its live stream for free, for people with or without cable. If the livestream stops or can’t be accessed, you may be able to watch it and participate in a chat on Twitch.tv here.
