Chris Cornell passed away a few hours after he played a concert with his band, Soundgarden, at The Fox Theater in Detroit, MI, on May 17, 2017. He was 52.

Cornell was a prolific songwriter and vocalist who was nominated for 14 Grammy awards during his career.

He spent time in Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, Audioslave and was also a solo artist.
