WATCH: Anti-LGBT Protester Arrested at Pulse Anniversary Ceremony

People cheered as police handcuffed an anti-LGBT protester who showed up at a ceremony remembering the Pulse Nightclub victims on the one-year anniversary of their deaths. You can watch the video above.

The unidentified protester had the audacity to show up at the ceremony waving anti-LGBT signs as the nation mourned the lives lost in the mass tragedy. Be aware that the protester’s signs in the video are filled with hate and are disturbing. However, people attending the ceremony responded by chanting “love conquers hate.”

Police handcuffed the protester outside the Pulse nightclub.

The lone protester was outnumbered by those who came to the ceremony to remember the victims.

The incident occurred as America mourns the 49 lives lost during the massacre by Omar Mateen, which occurred on June 12, 2016. According to Fox News, “Around 2 a.m., a vigil was held for survivors, local officials and club employees — the same time when gunman Omar Mateen opened fire in the crowded gay club on June 12, 2016. It was the first of three services taking place in the Orlando area. Two other services — one midday and a late-night one at the nightclub — will take place along with a gathering in downtown Orlando.”

The Pulse nightclub shooting is considered the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history, Fox reported. Mateen called 911 from the scene to pledge allegiance to the leader of ISIS. The horrific mass shooting shocked the nation. In addition to the 49 people killed, Mateen injured 53 other people.

President Donald Trump and others shared photo arrays of the victims.

Many people on social media shared positive remembrances and tributes to the victims.

The hashtag #OrlandoUnited was trending on Twitter.

Celebrities added their voices to the tributes.
