Two AFC powerhouses clash Week 1 when the Buffalo Bills (0-0) host the Pittsburgh Steelers (0-0) at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, September 12.
The game (1 p.m. ET start time) will be televised on CBS in select markets. But if you don’t have cable, here are some different ways you can watch a live stream of the Steelers vs Bills online, with the options depending on where you live:

DirecTV is a cable option, which comes with a contract, but it’s worth mentioning here since it’s the only other way to get SundayTicket and watch live out-of-market games in the United States. Steelers vs Bills Preview
The Bills are coming off an impressive 13-3 season that saw them finish in first place in the AFC East for the first time since 1995. Now, quarterback Josh Allen, who finished second in MVP voting last season, is looking to lead the team to its first Super Bowl since the 1990s.
In his third season leading Buffalo last year, Allen completed 69.2% of his passes for 4,544 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also ran for 421 yards and eight scores on the ground, making him arguably the best dual-threat at the position in the NFL. It remains a question mark as to who will be blocking for him this week, though.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott has been mum leading up to this game as to which offensive linemen will fill the final two spots. Jon Feliciano, Cody Ford and Ike Boettger have been competing for the starting guard position.
“We’ll see. There’s good competition there, as I said last week,” McDermott said heading into the game. “I think we’ll know a little more as the week goes on. … Very confident in both Ike and Cody and in Jon.”
On the other side, the Steelers finished atop the AFC North last season with a 12-4 mark. They’ll get veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger back for what could very well be his final year with the team, and they also just kept their best defensive player around for the next four years.
The Steelers and top pass rusher T.J. Watt agreed to a four-year contract extension worth more than $112 million heading into this game, and you can bet Watt is going to want to prove he’s worth it.
Watt leads a Steelers defense that ranked third in the NFL in total defense last year, allowing 305.8 yards and 19.5 points a game. They’ll find the ultimate challenge out of the gate in Allen and company.
“We know that it’s gonna be a tight game,” Allen said about facing Pittsburgh, per The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. “Last couple of years, obviously, they’ve been kind of boxing matches, taking a couple hits here and there, giving them out. They’re extremely well-coached, they’re a very talented group on defense, they got a Hall of Fame quarterback over there so we got to be on top of our game and go out there and try to execute to the best of our abilities.”
