Brown (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants. Though he was listed as doubtful with a knee injury before being included on the Eagles' 11-player inactive list, Brown's absence is likely rest-related more than anything. The Eagles are locked into the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs and won't expose Brown to an injury in a meaningless regular-season finale. Brown should be ready to play a full complement of snaps in the Eagles' wild-card game against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.

Not playing in Week 18
Brown (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants. Though he was listed as doubtful with a knee injury before being included on the Eagles' 11-player inactive list, Brown's absence is likely rest-related more than anything. The Eagles are locked into the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs and won't expose Brown to an injury in a meaningless regular-season finale. Brown should be ready to play a full complement of snaps in the Eagles' wild-card game against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
Listed as doubtful
Brown (knee/rest) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Giants. Brown's absence will be for rest and injury avoidance more so than anything to do with his minor knee injury. He should be ready for a full workload in the wild-card round of the playoffs against Washington or Green Bay.
Another DNP on Thursday
Brown (knee/rest) didn't practice Thursday. During both Week 16 and 17 prep, Brown showed up on the Eagles' injury report Thursday as limited due to knee and rest before getting cleared ahead of the last two contests. This week, he's been a non-participant with the same listings, but the team isn't expected to play QB Jalen Hurts (concussion), RB Saquon Barkley and a number of other starters Sunday versus the Giants, so Brown very likely is among that group of players. Philadelphia may make a ruling on Brown's Week 18 status as soon as it posts it final report of the regular season Friday.
Catches late TD in win
Brown secured three of five targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 41-7 win over the Cowboys on Sunday. Brown's quiet day was salvaged by his 20-yard touchdown grab late in the third quarter, a pass thrown by No. 3 quarterback Tanner McKee after Kenny Pickett (ribs) was forced out of the contest. Brown's scoring catch was preceded by a spectacular one-handed would-be TD reception that was narrowly incomplete when the talented receiver's right foot didn't come down inbounds in the left corner of the end zone. The Eagles have now clinched the NFC East, and unless the No. 1 seed is still in play for them in a Week 18 home matchup against the Giants, it's likely Brown doesn't take part in all four quarters of that contest.
No designation for Sunday
Brown (knee/rest) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game versus the Cowboys. For a second week in a row, Brown made an appearance on the Eagles' injury report midweek as limited due to knee/rest, but the scaled-back workload in one session again won't stop him from being available. That said, he will be working without QB Jalen Hurts, who wasn't able to practice this week due to a concussion that he sustained Week 16. Instead, Kenny Pickett (ribs) will be under center Sunday, but Brown still was able to put up an 8-97-1 line on 15 targets while working with the signal-caller for most of last Sunday's contest.
Limited by knee issue
Brown (knee/rest) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday. Brown similarly showed up on the Eagles' second practice report last week as limited with knee/rest before entering the weekend clear of a designation for this past Sunday's game at Washington. He proceeded to play all 74 snaps in the team's overtime loss on his way to eight catches (on 15 targets) for 97 yards and one touchdown while working most of the contest with Kenny Pickett (ribs) in place of Jalen Hurts (concussion) under center. Pickett seems poised to start for Hurts this weekend considering the latter hasn't practiced this week, so assuming Brown is able to suit up Sunday versus the Cowboys, he again should be on the receiving end of passes from Pickett.
Finds end zone against Washington
Brown caught eight of 15 targets for 97 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-33 loss to the Commanders. The star wideout put together his second straight strong performance, but this time Brown did it with Kenny Pickett (ribs) under center for most of the afternoon -- including for a four-yard TD in the first quarter -- after Jalen Hurts (concussion) left the game early. Pickett also got hurt late in the contest, which means the Eagles could potentially have to turn to 2023 sixth-round pick Tanner McKee at quarterback in Week 17 against the Cowboys. Brown demonstrated he could work with Pickett with no significant issues, but McKee has yet to attempt a pass in the NFL, and he would represent a massive downgrade for the entire Philly offense.
Avoids injury designation
Brown (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Washington. He never appeared in real danger of missing the game, listed under knee/rest after a limited practice Thursday. Brown was limited again at Friday's practice but should be ready for his usual workload this Sunday as the Eagles look to clinch the NFC East.
Says he'll play
Brown (knee) said Friday that he'll play Sunday at Washington, Andrew DiCecco of InsideTheBirds.com reports. As expected, given that the Eagles listed his injury as knee/rest after a limited practice Thursday. Brown wasn't on Wednesday's report and doesn't sound worried about his knee.
