Crowder caught two of four targets for 15 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 36-33 win over the Eagles. The 31-year-old wideout came into the game as a little-used depth option who had just a 4-32-0 line on four targets in three 2024 appearances, but after catching a six-yard TD strike from Jayden Daniels in the first quarter for the Commanders' first points, Crowder played hero by grabbing their last score as well -- a nine-yard toss from Daniels with just six seconds left in the fourth quarter. Crowder has seen his role grow the last two weeks, and it could increase further in Week 17 against the Falcons after Dyami Brown (hamstring) exited Sunday's win.

Jamison Crowder Latest News
Finds end zone twice in upset
Three catches in return
Crowder (calf) played 21 of the Commanders' 78 snaps on offense and recorded three receptions for 27 yards on three targets in Sunday's 20-19 win over the Saints. Crowder made his return from injured reserve in Week 15, after he had missed the Commanders' previous 10 games with a calf injury. Prior to getting hurt, Crowder didn't have much of a role on offense over Washington's first two games of the season, but the loss of Noah Brown (kidney) opened up some opportunities in the slot for the veteran. Crowder still finished fourth among Commanders receivers in snaps, and he could drop down another spot in the pecking order once waiver pickup K.J. Osborn gets up to speed with the offense.
Active Sunday
Crowder (calf) is active for Sunday's matchup with the Saints. The wide receiver and punt returner was activated from injured reserve Saturday. Crowder has missed every game since Week 3 due to the injury. He likely will serve as Washington's punt returner Sunday.
Activated ahead of Sunday's game
Crowder (calf) has been activated from injured reserve Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports, but he remains questionable to suit up. Crowder hasn't played since Week 3 due to a calf injury, but he's now in line to return to the gridiron. The 31-year-old wideout will likely serve as the Commanders' top punt returner Sunday, assuming he's active.
Could return in Week 15
Crowder (calf) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Saints. Crowder has missed the Commanders' last 10 games due to a calf injury, but after practicing in full throughout the week, he's trending toward playing in Sunday's contest. However, the 31-year-old wide receiver has yet to be added back to the active roster, a move that must occur for him to suit up Sunday. If he's activated Saturday, Crowder likely will serve as the Commanders' top punt returner and also might get a few snaps on offense.
Practices in full
Crowder (calf) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. Crowder was placed on injured reserve in early October and has missed the Commanders' last 10 games due to a calf injury. However, he was designated to return Monday and has already practiced in full, suggesting he's nearly recovered from the issue. Despite Wednesday's full session, the veteran wideout must still be added to Washington's active roster in order to play in Week 15, when the Commanders travel to New Orleans.
Takes next step
Crowder (calf) was designated to return from IR on Monday. Crowder hasn't played since Week 3 due to his calf issue, but he may finally be nearing a return. He'll now have a 21-day window to practice with the team before needing to be placed on the 53-man roster. Once healthy though, the veteran wideout won't likely have much of a role in the Commanders' offense and only played 12 offensive snaps in the two games he did suit up for.
Not on track to play Thursday
Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said Tuesday that Crowder (calf) has not been designated to return from injured reserve, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports. Crowder has spent the Commanders' last seven games on the sideline due to a lingering calf issue, and though he's been eligible to resume practicing for a few weeks, he hasn't made enough progress in his recovery for the team to open his 21-day evaluation window. At this stage, Crowder looks safe to rule out for Thursday's game against the Eagles, and a return to action Week 12 versus the Cowboys might be a stretch, too.
Will miss time
Crowder (calf) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. Crowder suffered the injury in Sunday's win over the Cardinals and will have to miss the Commanders' next four games. The veteran wideout has had a minimal role in the offense when healthy, but his absence could lead to a couple of extra opportunities for Dyami Brown.
