Placed back on practice squad
The Raiders reverted Shenker to their practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. Shenker was elevated for Sunday's Week 18 loss to the Chargers and played all 12 of his snaps on special teams. The 26-year-old ended up playing in eight contests for Las Vegas during the regular season -- five as part of the active roster and three as a practice-squad elevation -- and totaled one catch on one target for seven yards.
Gets another elevation for Week 18
The Raiders elevated Shenker from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday. Shenker is being elevated for the third straight week to provide tight-end depth and to work on special teams. Over the Raiders' past two games, the Auburn product has tallied five offensive snaps and 35 special-teams snaps. Shenker will likely log a similar workload Sunday in the team's season finale against the Chargers.
Returns to practice squad
Shenker reverted to the Raiders' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log. Shenker was elevated to the active roster for the second week in a row ahead of Sunday's 25-10 win over the Saints, failing to record any stats while playing four snaps on offense and 20 snaps on special teams. The tight end seems likely to be added to the active roster again for the team's regular-season finale in Week 18 against the Chargers.
Elevated for Week 17
The Raiders elevated Shenker from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday. Shenker will be elevated to the Raiders' active roster for a second straight week. He played 16 snaps (one on offense, 15 on special teams) during the Raiders' Week 16 win over the Jaguars and logged a tackle on punt coverage.
Back with practice squad
Shenker reverted to the Raiders' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log. Shenker was elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's win over the Jaguars, playing one snap on offense and 15 snaps with the special-teams unit, logging one tackle on punt coverage. The tight end has recorded one reception for seven yards while appearing in six games with Las Vegas in 2024.
Up from practice squad for Week 16
Shenker was elevated from the practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Shenker's set to make his sixth appearance of the season. He has just one catch for seven yards over the previous five.
Back with practice squad
The Raiders signed Shenker to their practice squad Monday. Shenker was cut from the 53-man roster late last week but is now back with Las Vegas' practice squad after playing 60 offensive snaps across five games earlier this season. He has one career catch for seven yards.
Cut by Las Vegas
Shenker was waived by the Raiders on Friday. Shenker was let go after appearing in the team's last five contests, catching his only target for seven yards while playing 58 offensive snaps. The tight end will be placed on waivers, and if he goes unclaimed, there's a good chance he'll return to Las Vegas a member of the team's practice squad. In a corresponding move, the Raiders signed fellow tight end Justin Shorter to the active roster Friday.
Serving as No. 3 tight end
Shenker went without a target while playing 14 of the Raiders' 79 snaps on offense in Sunday's 20-15 loss to the Rams. After being signed off the practice squad in late September, Shenker has suited up in each of the Raiders' last four games as the No. 3 tight end behind Brock Bowers and Harrison Bryant. Though Bryant suffered an elbow injury in Sunday's loss that at least temporarily puts his status in question for a Week 8 matchup with the Chiefs, Shenker is unlikely to see enough playing time behind Bowers to make much of an imprint on the box score.
