Lowe (ankle) is not among New England's inactives for Sunday's matchup against the Jets. Lowe hurt his ankle Week 6 against Houston and was unable to play last Sunday versus Jacksonville. However, he was able to finish this week with a pair of limited practices, allowing him to return to action Sunday. Lowe should reprise his starting role at left tackle upon his return.

Will return to action Week 8
Lowe (ankle) is not among New England's inactives for Sunday's matchup against the Jets. Lowe hurt his ankle Week 6 against Houston and was unable to play last Sunday versus Jacksonville. However, he was able to finish this week with a pair of limited practices, allowing him to return to action Sunday. Lowe should reprise his starting role at left tackle upon his return.
Chance to play Week 8
Lowe (ankle) was a limited practice participant Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets. Lowe suffered an ankle injury during the Patriots' Week 6 loss to the Texans, which kept him off the field for Week 7 against the Jaguars in London. The 2022 sixth-round pick opened the week as a DNP on Wednesday, but he followed that up with consecutive limited practices and has given himself a chance at returning from a one-game absence. If Lowe is unable to play Sunday, Demontrey Jacobs would be in line to make his second-straight start at left tackle and be tasked with protecting Drake Maye's blindside.
Won't play Week 7
Lowe (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Lowe suffered an ankle injury during the Patriots' Week 6 loss to the Texans. He underwent an MRI on his ankle Monday, and while the results of those tests haven't been announced, the injury is severe enough to keep him sidelined for Week 7. Mike Onwenu shifted from right guard to left tackle after Lowe left Sunday's game, and the former could remain at that spot or Zachary Thomas could draw the start.
To undergo MRI
Coach Jerod Mayo said Monday that Lowe will have an MRI to evaluate the ankle injury he sustained during Sunday's game versus the Texans, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports. Lowe was knocked out of New England's contest in Week 6 after just 10 snaps, and now his team will have to hope his ankle issue doesn't keep him out even longer. 2022 Zachary Thomas is considered the next man up for the Patriots at tackle.
Ruled out
Lowe (ankle) will not return Sunday against the Texans, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports. Lowe has had an injury-riddled 2024 campaign so far. He'll work to get healthy and return in Week 7 against the Jaguars.
Injured again
Lowe (ankle) has exited Sunday's game against the Texans, Taylor Kyles of CLNSMedia.com reports. Lowe missed multiple games this season due to a knee injury and he'll now take to the sidelines with an ankle injury. Although he's questionable to return, Mike Onwenu will fill in for now at offensive tackle for the Illinois product.
Will return in Week 5
Lowe (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Lowe missed back-to-back games due to a knee injury but is cleared to return in Week 5. He'll presumably start at left tackle against Miami.
Ruled out for Week 4
Lowe (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the 49ers. Lowe will be forced to miss a second straight game due to a knee injury. Caedan Wallace (knee) is also questionable to play, so New England may be down to third-string Demontrey Jacobs at left tackle in Week 4.
Out for Thursday night
Lowe (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday night's matchup with the Jets. Lowe was unable to practice Wednesday after being estimated as a DNP on both Monday and Tuesday, so it's no surprise he won't be suiting up in Week 3. Expect rookie Caedan Wallace to protect Jacoby Brissett's blindside in Lowe's stead.
