Singleton will have surgery to repair his ACL on Oct. 15, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. Singleton tore the ACL in his right knee against the Buccaneers in Week 3 and won't return to action this season. If his surgery is successful, Singleton should be ready to suit up by the time the 2025 campaign comes around.

Scheduled for ACL surgery
Singleton will have surgery to repair his ACL on Oct. 15, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. Singleton tore the ACL in his right knee against the Buccaneers in Week 3 and won't return to action this season. If his surgery is successful, Singleton should be ready to suit up by the time the 2025 campaign comes around.
Moves to IR
Singleton (knee) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. Singleton's move to IR comes after it was reported by Nick Kosmider of The Athletic that the Montana State product suffered an ACL tear during Sunday's win over the Buccaneers. Surprisingly, Singleton was able to stay in the game and play through the injury but will ultimately need surgery to repair his ACL, which is scheduled to take place in about two weeks.
Diagnosed with ACL tear
Singleton suffered an ACL tear during Sunday's win over Tampa Bay, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports. Singleton played through the injury during Sunday's game and must have been surprised by the diagnosis afterward. He'll be placed on injured reserve for the rest of the season, with surgery scheduled for early-to-mid October. Singleton had at least 120 tackles and 16 games played each of the past four years, including 163 tackles in 2022 and 177 in 2023. He played every defensive snap through three weeks this year, recording 31 tackles (17 solo) and an interception while serving as Denver's defensive playcaller. Cody Barton likely will take over the green-dot responsibilities and get additional playing time in passing situations, but the Broncos also need a depth player to step up for more snaps at inside linebacker, where options include Kristian Welch, Justin Strnad, Kwon Alexander (practice squad) and Zach Cunningham (practice squad).
Leads Denver in tackles
Singleton recorded 10 tackles (four solo) in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Buccaneers. Singleton tallied double-digit tackles for the second-straight contest, and now has recorded a team-high 31 total tackles through three weeks. The veteran linebacker should remain a solid IDP option for fantasy, as he is on his way to another stellar season in Denver. Singleton will look to continue his strong start to the 2024 campaign when the Broncos visit the Jets in Week 4.
Logs 11 tackles vs. Pittsburgh
Singleton finished Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Steelers with 11 tackles (seven solo). Singleton was the Broncos' leading tackler Sunday. He leads Denver with 20 tackles through two games, and he ranks ninth in the NFL in that category. Singleton is well on his way to recording his fifth-straight season of 100-plus tackles, and he'll continue that quest against Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers in Week 3.
Productive against Seahawks
Singleton tallied nine tackles (six solo), including one interception, one pass defensed and one tackle for loss in Sunday's 26-20 loss to the Seahawks. Singleton picked up right where he left off after a stellar 2023 campaign, contributing as a key member of the Broncos' defense. The veteran linebacker recorded his first interception with Denver and just the third pick of his career. Singleton remains a priority IDP option in Denver's defense and the 30-year-old will look to keep the momentum going when the Broncos host the Steelers in Week 2.
Records four tackles in win
Singleton tallied a team-high four tackles (two solo) in Sunday's 34-30 preseason win over the Colts. Singleton led all Broncos defenders with four total tackles in Sunday's preseason contest, picking up where he left off last season as the team leader in that category. The veteran linebacker will look to reprise his role as a key cog in the Denver defense in 2024, making him an intriguing IDP option this season.
