The Panthers signed Brown to the 90-man training camp roster Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Brown appeared in two regular-season games for the 49ers in 2023, playing just one snap on defense and three snaps on special teams before being released in late October. The 2016 sixth-round pick out of Purdue had his most productive season in 2021 with the Cowboys, when he registered 71 tackles (59 solo), 17 passes defended, three interceptions, one forced fumble and one touchdown across 16 regular-season games. Brown will work to earn a depth spot at corner behind starters Jaycee Horn and Dane Jackson.
