The Jets waived Bryant on Saturday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Bryant joined the Jets as an undrafted free agent Thursday, but he ultimately was not in the team's vision for the future. He was competing with Andrew Peasley for the team's No. 3 spot under center. The 24-year-old will now keep his eyes open for a new opportunity.
