Gillikin (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup versus New England, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports. Gillikin hurt his foot in the first half of Sunday's loss to Seattle and didn't return. Placekicker Chad Ryland handled punting duties for Arizona for the remainder of that contest, but the team signed Michael Palardy to the practice squad this week, and he likely will be called upon to punt Sunday against the Patriots.
Gillikin (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Seahawks. Gillikin suffered an ankle injury in the first half, placing doubt on his availability for the rest of the game. In his absence, kicker Chad Ryland will handle the punting duties for Arizona.
Gillikin signed a two-year contract with the Cardinals on Wednesday, Zach Gershman of the team's official site reports. Gillikin joined the Cardinals in October of last season and competed in 13 games, averaging 50.6 yards per punt. The Penn State product will likely remain Arizona's punter in 2024 after earning a two-year commitment from the franchise.
