Nix completed 24 of 31 passes for 219 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in Saturday's 30-24 overtime loss to the Bengals. He added seven rushes for 31 yards. Nix didn't match the exceptional stat line of his counterpart Joe Burrow, but he was impressive in his own right. After struggling to move the offense in the first half, he led a trio of touchdown drives in the final two quarters. The performance was highlighted by a pair of long touchdown passes to Marvin Mims, the first being a 51-yard deep shot and the second coming on a 25-yard desperation heave with only eight seconds remaining in regulation. Nix now has at least three passing scores in three of his last six games after accomplishing that only once in his first 10 games as a pro.

Bo Nix Latest News
Impressive Week 17 showing
Strong numbers in loss
Nix completed 29 of 40 passes for 263 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and added three rushes for 25 yards in the Broncos' 34-27 loss to the Chargers on Thursday night. He also fumbled once but Denver retained possession. The rookie turned in yet another impressive performance and did so against a talented defense, bouncing back from having thrown a combined five interceptions over the previous two games. Nix eclipsed 250 passing yards for the fourth time in five games with Thursday's total, one he achieved by connecting with a whopping 10 targets overall. Nix's pair of touchdown passes went to Michael Burton (one yard) and Devaughn Vele (six yards) -- both in the second quarter -- and he's now compiled 13 scoring tosses over the last six games. Nix next takes aim at the vulnerable Bengals defense in a Week 17 road matchup on Saturday, Dec. 28.
Overcomes three INTs in Week 15 win
Nix completed 20 of 33 passes for 130 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions in Sunday's 31-13 win over the Colts. He added eight rushing attempts for 23 yards. Nix reverted to the poor form he showed early in the season, throwing an interception on Denver's first drive and adding another two picks in the third quarter. He connected with Adam Trautman for a 13-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter, and after Denver's defense held the fort while Nix found his game, the rookie quarterback created some breathing room with fourth-quarter touchdown passes of 15 and 20 yards to Nate Adkins and Courtland Sutton, respectively. Nix has a 4:5 TD:INT in his last two starts after posting an 8:0 mark over the three preceding games, so he'll look to clean up the mistakes on a short week Thursday against the Chargers.
Mixed stat line in win
Nix completed 18 of 35 pass attempts for 294 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions while rushing three times for four yards in Monday's 41-32 win over Cleveland. Nix turned in mixed results in Monday's thrilling victory, throwing his 17th touchdown in addition to his seventh and eighth interceptions of the season. The rookie standout didn't have his best game as a rusher, either, but his 294 passing yards was his second-highest total through 13 starts. Nix has been progressing well since enduring a slow start to the campaign, making him a viable fantasy option coming out of the upcoming bye against the Colts on Sunday, Dec. 15.
No injury designation for Monday
Nix (back) does not carry an injury designation for Monday's contest against the Browns. Nix was a full participant both Friday and Saturday meaning he's good to go in the primetime affair against the Browns. Cleveland's defense is allowing 251 passing yards over the last three games, which ranks 10th worst in the NFL and that includes last Thursday's blizzard-like conditions against the Steelers. The rookie quarterback could be poised for yet another outstanding day as he vies for contention for Rookie of the Year honors.
Full participant Friday
Nix (back) was a full participant in Friday's practice, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Nix's return to full participation Friday suggests he isn't in danger of sitting out Monday's game against the Browns after being limited on Thursday's practice estimate. The rookie quarterback confirmed as much himself Friday by stating "I'm good to go," per Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post. Barring a setback, Nix won't have an injury designation when the Broncos release their final injury report Saturday.
Limited on practice estimate
Nix (back) was listed as limited on Thursday's practice estimate. The Broncos held a walkthrough Thursday, with Nix estimated as a limited participant due to a back issue. The QB didn't miss a snap in Denver's 29-19 win over the Raiders in Week 12, an effort that led to Nix being named the NFL's Rookie of the Week for the third consecutive week. Therefore, it's quite possible that his listed limitations Thursday were maintenance-related. Added context on that front may arrive via Friday's injury report.
Stays hot in win over Raiders
Nix completed 25 of 42 pass attempts for 273 yards and two touchdowns (with no turnovers) while rushing for five yards on his only carry in Sunday's 29-19 win over the Raiders. Nix maintained the momentum from his career-best performance last week with another clean win while throwing multiple touchdown passes. The rookie quarterback has been developing quickly with 11 touchdowns to just one interception over his last five contests. Nix will lead a 7-5 Broncos squad into Week 13 for a home tilt against the Browns on Monday Night Football.
Throws four TDs in career-best game
Nix completed 28 of 33 passes for 307 yards and four touchdowns in Sunday's 38-6 win over the Falcons. Nix set new single-game career highs in passing yards and touchdown passes as well as in completion percentage (85 percent) and passer rating (145). He threw a touchdown pass in each quarter, with a 12-yarder to Nate Adkins in the first, a 12-yarder to Marvin Mims in the second, a seven-yarder to Troy Franklin in the third and a 41-yarder to Lil'Jordan Humphrey in the fourth. Nix's four touchdown passes brought his season total up to 14, which tied the Broncos franchise rookie record set by Marlin Briscoe in 1968. The rookie first-round pick will look to take sole possession of that record during the Broncos' Week 12 trip to Vegas.
