Active Sunday
Sherff (knee) is good to go for Sunday's game in Philadelphia. Scherff injured his knee in last week's loss to the Packers. Barring any setbacks, he should take on his usual responsibilities at right guard.
Returns to Sunday's game
Scherff (knee) has returned to Sunday's game against the Packers, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports. Scherff exited late in the first half of Sunday's game due to a knee injury, but the 2015 first-round pick is back on the field for the second half and will reclaim his spot at right guard.
Suffers knee injury
Scherff (knee) is questionable to return to Jacksonville's matchup Sunday versus Green Bay. Scherff suffered a knee injury late in the first half, leaving his status for the remainder of Sunday's matchup up in the air. Cooper Hodges is now in at right guard for the Jaguars and will remain there if Scherff is unable to return.
Reworks deal
Scherff agreed to restructure his contract Sunday, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports. Scherff was set to have a $23.96 million cap hit for the Jaguars; however, after the restructuring, which will see Scherff receive $15 million in guaranteed money this season, the team will save roughly $5 million in cap space, according to DiRocco. The Iowa product should remain Jacksonville's starter at right guard for the 2024 campaign.
