Brayden Narveson

The Packers claimed Narveson on waivers Wednesday and then released fellow kicker Greg Joseph, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Narveson went undrafted this spring after playing five collegiate seasons at three different schools and converting 78.0 percent of his career field-goal attempts. He then made six of seven field-goal tries for the Titans this preseason, with his only miss coming from 58 yards out and one of his makes being a 59-yarder. The Packers will take a shot on him, releasing Joseph one day after they waived Anders Carlson. The team context and leg strength hint at potential fantasy value, while Narveson's lack of experience suggests poor job security.
