Meyers secured six of 11 targets for 97 yards in the Raiders' 19-17 loss to the Chiefs on Friday. Meyers finished second across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets to Brock Bowers for the Raiders on the afternoon. The veteran wideout's yardage total was his third highest of the season and maintained a recent pattern of strong play, as Meyers has generated both of his 100-yard efforts this season along with Friday's total within his last four games. The sixth-year pro has at least six catches in five of his last six contests as well and plenty of established chemistry with Aidan O'Connell, giving Meyers a bright outlook heading into a Week 14 road matchup against a vulnerable Buccaneers secondary on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Jakobi Meyers Latest News
Just short of 100-yard mark in loss
Season-best numbers in loss
Meyers caught 10 of 15 targets for 121 yards in Sunday's 29-19 loss to the Broncos. The veteran wideout put together his best performance of 2024, with his receptions, targets and yards all being season highs. Meyers has produced a 28-306-1 line on 39 targets over the last four games, but he'll head into a Week 13 clash against Kansas City with uncertainty at quarterback -- Gardner Minshew (collarbone) was lost for the season Sunday, while Aidan O'Connell (thumb) may not be ready to return from IR.
Held in check by Dolphins
Meyers secured four of six targets for 28 yards and rushed once for 20 yards in the Raiders' 34-19 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. It was an atypical stat line all the way around for Meyers, who recorded the longest rush of his career but also posted his lowest receiving yardage tally of the campaign. The veteran pass catcher did record at least four catches for the seventh straight game, but he's eclipsed the century mark only once, in Week 9 against the Bengals, over the course of the season. Meyers usually gets more mileage out of his pass-catching opportunities than he did Sunday, but he'll face a daunting task against the Broncos at home in Week 12.
Eclipses century mark in loss
Meyers secured eight of 11 targets for 105 yards in the Raiders' 41-24 loss to the Bengals on Sunday. The veteran wideout was the leader across the board for the Raiders' pass catchers despite middling quarterback play from both Gardner Minshew and Desmond Ridder. Meyers' reception, yardage and target totals were also all season-high figures, and he now has at least six receptions in four of the last five games. It remains to be seen what quarterback Meyers will work with in a Week 11 road matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 17 coming out of a Week 10 bye, but the sixth-year pro should remain the clear-cut leader of the wideout corps under any circumstance.
Churns out full practice
Meyers (ankle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. After missing two straight games with the ankle injury, Meyers returned to action in this past Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs, playing 80 percent of the offensive snaps while finishing with six catches for 52 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. Meyers was limited in practice to kick off Week 9 prep, but his full session Thursday sets the stage for him to join tight end Brock Bowers as the clear top targets in the passing game for quarterback Gardner Minshew in Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Limited practice Wednesday
Meyers (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday. In his return from a two-game absence, Meyers caught six of his seven targets for 52 yards and a TD in this past Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, while recording an 81 percent snaps share on offense. With no reported setbacks in the contest, there's a decent chance Meyers' listed limitations Wednesday were maintenance-related.
Top target in return
Meyers recorded six receptions on seven targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs. Meyers returned from a two-game absence and immediately led the Raiders in targets and receptions. He was heavily involved on the opening drive, converting a key first down with an 11-yard catch before finding the end zone from seven yards away. Meyers then tallied his longest catch of the day for 17 yards early in the second quarter, setting up a Las Vegas field goal. While his final stat line was modest, Meyers should dominate targets along with Brock Bowers moving forward.
Active in Week 8, as expected
Meyers (ankle) is active for Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Chiefs. Meyers was reported to be in line for a return from a two-game absence after wrapping up the practice week with a full session Friday, and his active status is now official. The veteran wideout returns to a notably altered wide-receiver corps than the one he left, as Davante Adams was traded to the New York Jets during Meyers' absence. Meyers will therefore assume the No. 1 receiver role moving forward, albeit with the inconsistent Gardner Minshew as his quarterback beginning with a difficult matchup against the Chiefs' talented secondary Sunday.
Expected to be active Week 8
Meyers (ankle), who is questionable for Sunday's Week 8 game versus Kansas City, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Meyers missed the Raiders' past two contests due to an ankle injury, but he appears set to return Sunday against the Chiefs. The 27-year-old will likely function as Las Vegas' top wideout now that Davante Adams is a member of the Jets. Meyers has logged at least nine targets and 49 receiving yards in each of the past three games for which he's been able to suit up.
