Caught up in roster cuts

The Saints cut Robinson on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Robinson, who played only one game in 2023 and 11 contests in 2022, couldn't carve out a reserve role for himself behind Alvin Kamara in New Orleans' backfield despite Kendre Miller (hamstring) missing most of training camp and Jamaal Williams having been notably unproductive last season. Since suffering an Achilles tear back in 2021, Robinson has bounced between multiple organizations in the league. He'll look to earn another practice squad opportunity for the 2024 campaign, whether with the Saints or a new club.
