The Giants signed Murray to their practice squad Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports. Murray spent some time with the Cardinals' practice squad earlier this season before inking a deal to join the Giants' practice squad Wednesday. The 24-year-old tight end has yet to appear in an NFL game after going undrafted out of Hawaii in 2023.

Murray signed with the Cardinals' practice squad in late August after failing to make the Colts' 53-man roster at the end of training camp. Murray hasn't been elevated for a game this season, and the 24-year-old will look to catch on with another team in need of depth at tight end.

After being cut by the Texans at the end of training camp in 2023, Murray spent most of the season on the Colts' practice squad. He entered training camp competing for a depth spot at tight end, but he wasn't able to catch onto the 53-man roster after accruing three catches on four targets for 62 yards across three preseason games. Assuming he clears waivers, Murray could be invited to join the Colts' practice squad, or he could explore other opportunities elsewhere.
