Ngata (ankle) tried out for the Giants on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. The wide receiver was waived from the Eagles' injured reserve with an injury settlement Sept. 5. Ngata caught five passes for 88 yards for Philadelphia during the preseason. He has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game.
