The Chiefs waived Sheets on Monday. Sheets initially latched on as an UDFA with New Orleans, but after the Saints waived him mid-July he was scooped up by Kansas City. Though the undrafted wideout out of Slippery Rock couldn't earn a spot on the initial 53-man roster, he may have shown enough throughout training camp to pop back up on the Chiefs' practice squad, assuming he now goes unclaimed on waivers.
