The Patriots waived Pettway on Monday, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports. Pettway spent the majority of last season on the Patriots' practice squad, but the team has now decided to part ways with the 27-year-old. With Pettaway being dropped, New England's tight end room consists of Hunter Henry, Austin Hooper, Mitchell Wilcox, Jaheim Bell and Jacob Warren.
