The Bills cut Havrisik from the practice squad Thursday. Havrisik's tenure on Buffalo's practice squad lasted roughly two weeks, but he's now being let go to make room for veteran wideout Deon Cain. Next, Havrisik will have to search for a depth role elsewhere in the league, unless the Bills are interested in re-signing him at a later date.

Cut from practice squad
The Bills cut Havrisik from the practice squad Thursday. Havrisik's tenure on Buffalo's practice squad lasted roughly two weeks, but he's now being let go to make room for veteran wideout Deon Cain. Next, Havrisik will have to search for a depth role elsewhere in the league, unless the Bills are interested in re-signing him at a later date.
Joins Bills' practice squad
Buffalo signed Havrisik to the practice squad Thursday. Havrisik spent time with the Browns during the offseason, and he went 15-for-20 on field-goal attempts across nine appearances with the Rams in 2023. His presence on the practice squad provides Buffalo with some insurance behind Tyler Bass, who has converted nine of 12 field-goal attempts and 18 of 20 PATs through six games this season.
Gets let go
Havrisik was waived by the Browns on Monday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Havrisik originally signed with Cleveland in January and has since been let go and brought back by the team multiple times. However, with Week 1 less than two weeks away and Dustin Hopkins (undisclosed) still on the roster, this may be the end of the road for the Arizona product with the franchise.
Back with Cleveland
The Browns re-signed Havrisik on Friday, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. The kicker rejoins Cleveland just a day after the team traded Cade York to Washington. Havrisik appeared in nine games with the Rams last season, making 15 of 20 field-goal attempts and 19 of 22 extra-point tries. He'll assume the backup kicker spot to veteran Dustin Hopkins, but Hopkins' minor injury could open up some playing time for Havrisik.
Gets let go
Havrisik was waived by the Browns on Tuesday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Havrisik had just joined Cleveland on May 20, but with fellow kickers Dustin Hopkins and Cade York under contract as well, the Arizona product was seemingly expendable. He'll now have to seek out a new opportunity
Back in Cleveland
Havrisik signed with the Browns on Monday, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports. The kicker rejoined the team after getting waived May 14. Havrisik signed a reserve/future contract with the Browns in January after spending time on Cleveland's practice squad last year. The second-year pro appeared in nine games for the Rams in 2023 and made 15 of 20 field-goal attempts and 19 of 22 extra-point tries.
Loses spot
Havrisik was waived by the Browns on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Havrisik signed a reserve/future contract with Cleveland in January after the Rams waived him. He was expected to at least have the opportunity to compete with Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) and Cade York for the team's kicker job in 2024, but instead, he'll become a free agent once again.
Another shaky performance
Havrisik sailed a 50-yard field goal attempt wide right in the second quarter, and while he did connect on a 24-yard attempt later in the game, he also pushed a PAT wide right in the fourth quarter. The missed kicks made little impact in a blowout victory, but won't help inspire confidence in Havrisik's job security heading into a Week 12 contest against the Browns and their imposing defense.
Records first miss of career
On a misty day at Lambeau Field, the Rams offense as a whole sputtered with Brett Rypien at the helm, leaving Havrisik with few opportunities to produce. While he did manage to drill a 52-yard attempt in the second quarter, he pushed a 49-yard try wide right in the third quarter. Havrisik will likely get a pass for the miss with the weather conditions working against him, and has the Rams' bye in Week 10 to look forward to before facing off against the Seahawks at home in Week 11.
