Inks deal with Las Vegas
The Raiders signed Bynum on Monday. The Cowboys actually worked out Bynum just two days prior, but it appears the USC product went in a different direction and signed with the Raiders. Bynum, an undrafted second-year wide receiver, appeared in one game with the Chargers last season, failing to record a stat. He'll likely be competing for a depth spot in Las Vegas' wide receiver room as the training camp progresses.
Works out with Dallas
The Cowboys worked out Byum on Saturday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports. Bynum is one of three wideouts Dallas worked out Saturday in the wake of top receiver CeeDee Lamb's holdout. The 25-year-old Bynum played in one game as a rookie with the Chargers last season but logged only one offensive snap.
Done with Colts
Indianapolis waived Bynum on Friday. Bynum initially signed with the Colts back in January, but after adding talent at wide receiver in the draft, they decided to part ways with him. He'll now have to look for his next opportunity with a new team.
Elevated for Sunday
Bynum will join Los Angeles' active roster to ensure depth at wide receiver, with both Keenan Allen (shoulder) and Jalen Guyton (groin) listed as questionable for Sunday's affair. Bynum, a rookie wideout, has yet to appear in his first NFL game after recording 1,093 receiving yards over the course of his collegiate career.
