1. The Currys Have Known Each Other Since Childhood
The couple has known each other since they were kids growing up in Charlotte, North Carolina. The pair first met while attending the Central Church of God together.
2. Curry Proposed to Alexander in Her Parents’ Driveway
After being estranged for number years after their childhood, the couple got back together while Curry was at a basketball camp for Davidson College in Los Angeles. Alexander was in LA pursuing an acting and modeling career. During the course of that pursuit she appeared in a third season episode of “Hannah Montana.” Curry got in contact with her through Facebook. Eventually they started dating and got engaged in 2009, when Curry proposed to her on her parents’ driveway.
3. The Couple Are Very Active in Charities
They were married on July 30, 2011, in Charlotte. There were 420 guests in attendance, all of whom were encouraged not to give gifts to the couple but to donate to ThanksUSA.org, a charity that sets up scholarships for the children of U.S. veterans. After their wedding, the couple honeymooned in Bora Bora.

Alexander has an online business degree. According to her Facebook page, she’s now a student at Davidson University, Curry’s alma mater.
