Fab WAGs notes that Laurie Schaub (born Laurie Flynn) was a cheerleader at Auburn University before becoming a cheerleader for the Atlanta Falcons. They have three daughters: Monroe, Makalya, and Mackenzie.

Matt and Laurie met at a charity golf tournament, and now actually have a charity of their own. The GR8 Hope Foundation is a charity that provides help for sick kids. Laurie’s profile on the GR8 Hope Foundation notes that she also serves on the board of the Make-A-Wish foundation in Houston, and is also a member of the YTAC (Young Texans against Cancer).
