Kauffman Stadium was rocking Tuesday night at the Kansas City Royals tried to rally back from a 4-run deficit in their American League Wild Card playoff against the Oakland A’s.
Kansas City chased A’s starter Jon Lester and trimmed the deficit from 7-3 to 7-6. The Royals were threatening for more, but reliever Luke Gregerson came up with back-to-back strikeouts to end the threat and send Oakland to the ninth with a one-run lead.
