WATCH: Eric Hosmer Triples in 12th Inning of Royals-A’s

In one of the craziest moments of one of the craziest games in recent memory, Eric Hosmer missed a game-tying home run by inches early Wednesday morning, but settled for a one-out triple before scoring the tying run on an infield chopper an at-bat later.

Hosmer’s shot bounced high off the left field wall and electrified the crowd at Kauffman Stadium. It was the second time Kansas City had tied the game after falling into a 7-3 deficit.
