It was announced this past week that Bears head coach Marc Trestman was benching starting quarterback Jay Cutler in favor of backup, and former Notre Dame product, Jimmy Clausen.
The Bears hosted the Detroit Lions in their regular season home finale on Sunday. Through one half, Clausen has outplayed his counterpart Matthew Stafford. Clausen is 14-for-23 for 109 yards and a touchdown.
Stafford, on the other hand, is 13-for-21 for 158 yards with two interceptions.
Clausen has also led a 99-yard drive in this game, which is the drive that ended with his touchdown pass.
