Late in the 1st quarter of the National Championship Game, Ohio State’s Ezekiel Elliott broke open a 33-yard run for a touchdown to tie the game at 7-7. The Buckeyes’ drive went 97 yards on 10 plays and lasted just 3:16.
Both offenses have scored on quick drives in the opening quarter.
