Marcus Mariota Leaves National Championship With Shoulder Injury

Oregon Ducks quarterback Marcus Mariota temporarily left the National Championship Game against the Ohio State Buckeyes in the 4th quarter due to a shoulder injury.

Mariota would later return to the game, but was clearly favoring his shoulder for the duration of the game. Mariota finished the game 24-for-37 for 333 yards, two touchdowns and one interception on the final play of the game, which ended 42-20.
