The Buckeyes turned the football over on their 1st drive of the 2nd half.
The Oregon offense quickly took advantage of the interception by scoring on the next play. Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota connected on a 70-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Byron Marshall to cut the Buckeyes lead to 21-17.
