After Conference Championship Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots have advanced to play in Super Bowl XLIX.
For the Seahawks, this will be their 2nd consecutive appearance in the Super Bowl and 3rd overall appearance. For the Patriots, this will be their 6th Super Bowl appearance in the Tom Brady and Bill Belichick Era and 7th overall appearance.
There will be several in-game storylines; two of the most important storylines will be Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll looking to defeat the team he coached from 1997-99 and Brady looking to match Hall of Fame quarterbacks Terry Bradshaw (Pittsburgh Steelers) and his childhood idol Joe Montana (San Francisco 49ers) with his 4th championship.
