The Minnesota Timberwolves have traded Thaddeus Young to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Kevin Garrnett. Garrnett, who’s been in the NBA for 17 years, began his career in Minnesota. But what’s Young done?

1. Young Was Drafted 12th Overall
Young was drafted in 2007, 12th overall, by the Philadelphia 76ers. He attended Georgia Tech for college.
2. Young Was Traded to Minnesota in August, 2014
Young was part of a three-team trade in August, 2014. The trade, involving the 76ers, Timberwolves and Cavaliers, sent him from his original team to Minnesota. Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett also went to the Timberwolves, but were then sent to Cleveland. Philadelphia got Luc Mbah a Moute and Alexey Shved in return, and Cleveland got Kevin Love.
3. He Had a Career High in PPG Last Season
Last season, Young had a career high in points per game with 17.9. His career average through 564 games is 13.8 and his career field goal percentage average is .495.
4. He’s Scoring 14.3 PPG This Season
Though down from last year, Young scored 14.3 points per game this season in 48 games with the Timberwolves, according to ESPN.
5. Young is Married and Has A Son
Young has been married to wife Shekinah Beckett have a son named Thaddeus, Jr.
According to Player Wives, Young and Beckett met through her cousin. They married in August, 2012.
