Saturday at the Masters is “Moving Day.” It’s the day when the competitors try to set themselves up in good position for Sunday’s final push.

A lot of big-time players did just that. Justin Rose and Phil Mickelson each shot a 5-under. Rose is second at -12 and Mickelson third at -11. Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy each shot 4-under to go into the final round at 6-under.

Very solid scores for a Masters.

Unfortunately for them, tournament leader Jordan Spieth decided to participate in Moving Day as well. Spieth had 6 birdies, but also had 3 bogeys and a double-bogey.

Already holding a 5-stroke lead heading into the third round, Spieth shot a 2-under 70 to get to 16-under 200 for the tournament. And with that score, Spieth set the course’s 54-hole record.

His lead is now 4 shots over Rose. And now Spieth is looking for the first wire-to-wire Masters victory since 1976.

Spieth and Rose are in the final pairing Sunday.
