After a number of high-priced signings, the Miami Dolphins were expected to complete for a playoff spot in 2014. Instead the team went 8-8 for a second straight season despite the development of Ryan Tannehill into a quality NFL quarterback.
Those expectations will be raised again this year as the Dolphins reeled in the crown jewel of free agency. Ndamankong Suh got $60 million guaranteed in a six year, $114 million deal. Miami has missed the playoffs for six straight seasons.
