The Sprint Cup Series returns to the Midwest this weekend for the SpongeBob SquarePants 400 from Kansas Speedway.

The race, formerly known as the STP 400 and 5-Hour Energy 400 a year ago, is the first of 2 races in Kansas City this season. Read a preview for the race here.

The odds are out and a familiar name is atop the favorites – Kevin Harvick. The season points leader, who won at Kansas Speedway in October 2013, has 7/2 odds, ahead of Kurt Busch’s 5/1.

Jimmie Johnson (11/2), Jeff Gordon (8/2), Brad Keselowski (17/2) and Joey Logano (17/2) are also among the favorites. Gordon is the only 3-time winner at the track, while Johnson has won twice.

Gordon won last year’s spring race, while Logano took the checkered flag in the fall’s Hollywood Casino 400.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., last week’s winner at Talladega, came in at 10/1.

Pole qualifying is Friday at 6:45 p.m. Eastern and can be seen on FOX Sports 1.

The SpongeBob SquarePants 400 will also be televised by FOX Sports 1. The race begins Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. Eastern.
