The 2015 U.S. Open has a total purse of $10 million.
For winning at Chambers Bay, Jordan Spieth took home a cool $1.8 million, the same amount the 21-year-old took home for his Masters victory.
Spieth was the most consistent player on an inconsistent-at-best Chambers Bay course, shooting a 5-under 275 to edge Dustin Johnson and Louis Oosthuizen by a stroke.
2014 U.S. Open winner Martin Kaymer pocketed $1.62 million of the total $9 million pot.
