Things didn’t look good for PGA Tour pro Robert Streb when he started his back 9 Sunday at the Greenbrier Classic.
On the 9th hole, Streb decided to toss his putter to his caddie and, well, it broke.
He was within a shot of lead at the time.
But for Streb, it was no putter, no problem. Sand wedge to the rescue.
Streb went on a tear on the back 9 and finished at 5-under par for the round which helped him get into a 4-man playoff with Kevin Kisner, Danny Lee and David Hearn. Streb had 5 birdies and 1 bogey on the final 9 holes.
